Laboratory Spaces

A new operating model was introduced when we moved to the Agro Paris-Saclay campus: "Laboratory Spaces” that cut across research teams. It is based on the shared use of all analytical instruments and experimental facilities within the unit, providing common, open access to all staff members.

These workspaces provide unit staff with the ideal conditions for conducting experiments as part of research projects and allow for the hosting of student projects as part of their education. Technical coordinators oversee their coordination, operation, and facilitation. They are supported in their roles by resource personnel responsible for the equipment and experimental facilities.

Five laboratory spaces have been created, each focused on a specific disciplinary field: “chemistry-biochemistry”, “physical chemistry/microscopy”, “microbiology”, “sensory analysis/consumer studies” and “instrumented experiments”.

1. "Chemistry-biochemistry" Laboratory Space

2. "Physical chemistry/microscopy" Laboratory Space

3. "Microbiology" Laboratory Space

4. "sensory analysis/consumer studies" Laboratory Space

5. "Instrumented experiments" Laboratory Space
